These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OpenGlob ecosystem, including OpenGlob Accounts, OpenGlob Tasks, and all interconnected web applications. By creating an OpenGlob Account or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The OpenGlob Account and Ecosystem
OpenGlob operates on a unified identity system. Creating an OpenGlob Account grants you seamless access to our current and future suite of applications.
* Account Security: You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and your unique Recovery Key. Because OpenGlob employs a privacy-centric authentication model that does not rely on email-based password reset links, your Recovery Key is the only mechanism to restore access to your account if you lose your password. OpenGlob cannot recover lost accounts if both the password and Recovery Key are lost.
* Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
2. Acceptable Use and Platform Integrity
We build tools for productivity, communication, and organization. You agree not to misuse the OpenGlob ecosystem. You shall not:
* Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass the security mechanisms of OpenGlob SSO, our APIs, or our cloud infrastructure.
* Use the Services to store, transmit, or promote illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
* Deploy automated scripts, scrapers, or bots against OpenGlob endpoints that degrade the performance of the platform for other users.
* Attempt to access the isolated Service Accounts or internal databases that power OpenGlob.
3. Beta Services and "Labs" Features
OpenGlob is continuously innovating. You may occasionally be granted access to features marked as "Beta," "Labs," or "Internal Preview" (such as OpenGlob Rooms).
* These features are provided "as-is" for testing and feedback purposes.
* They may experience downtime, data resets, or feature changes without prior notice.
* By using Beta features, you acknowledge that performance may not match our globally released infrastructure.
4. Intellectual Property
- Your Data: You retain full ownership of all data, text, tasks, and communications you submit to the Services. You grant OpenGlob a worldwide, standard license to host, store, and process this data solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.
- OpenGlob's Property: All platform code, architectural design, logos, trademarks (including the OpenGlob brand, OpenGlob Tasks, and OpenGlob Rooms), and underlying software are the exclusive property of OpenGlob.
5. Termination
You may terminate this agreement at any time by deleting your OpenGlob Account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the ecosystem immediately, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or pose a security risk to the platform's infrastructure.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenGlob and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or digital access resulting from:
* Your use of or inability to use the Services.
* The loss of your Recovery Key and subsequent loss of account access.
* Any unauthorized access to our servers resulting from advanced persistent threats despite our commercially reasonable security measures.
7. Modifications to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms to reflect updates to our infrastructure, new applications, or legal requirements. Continued use of OpenGlob after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
